Situated in The Depot Artspace in picturesque Devonport village, a stroll from great cafes, bars and restaurants, Macsroom is one of the best equipped studios in New Zealand.

Veteran producer/engineer/composer Kenny MacDonald set up MacsRoom in Auckland, New Zealand, after moving from the UK. Kenny brings years of hands-on production and engineering experience with some of the biggest names in the international music industry along with wide experience producing and composing music for Film and TV.

MacsRoom also works in partnership with New Zealand based composers/producers Tom Fox and Marshall Smith at The Sound Room to offer full composition and scoring services for film, documentary, advertising and new media.

MacsRoom has the only ValveTechnology Console in the country. This console gives ultimate warmth and punchy front-end to a ProTools HD system.

Combine this with a healthy collection of Neumann mics and endless amounts of vintage outboard equipment and you have a recording facility capable of producing anything from demos to multimillion selling records.
